Andrew Quady introduced his line of Vya Vermouths in 1999 with the
idea that vermouth could be appreciated similarly to the way fine
wines are enjoyed. The Sweet Vya is a blended base wine, made
from a blend of Orange Muscat; and Valdepenas and Tinta Roriz,
which imbue it with its red fruit tones. Complex warm and spicy
notes originate from the use of over 17 herbs and spices which
creates a beautiful balance between the bitter elements from the
botanicals and the sweetness of the base.
