The 220 ha of vineyards are entirely privately owned – a rarity in Greece – ensuring complete control, with an absolute focus on quality. Their vineyard includes a very special, un-grafted, Xinomavro parcel planted in 1919, along with new plantings (from 1995 onwards) of both indigenous and international varieties. Destemming, light crushing, cold soak - skin contact, alcoholic fermentation at gradual increase temperatures, maintenance of wine ‘’sur lie’’ for seven months with regular stirring. 12 months in Allie oak casks medium to light toast and 12 months in bottle.
Dark ruby colour, black fruits on the nose and palate. Vanilla, black pepper and sweet spices.
