We've finally done it and got around to something we've been meaning to do for ages: a Blind Tasting Game!

In this set, you get three unlabelled pouches of wine, except for number and instructions on whether to chill it or not. 

Go onto our website, and enter the country, region, grape / grapes, levels of body, tannin, alcohol, acidity and sweetness... and you will get a score for how close you got!

There's no prizes, just the smug satisfaction of knowing how good you are... or how much more you need to practice!

Perfect for MW / Diploma / WSET L3 students to get ready for their blind tasting exams.

Scoring: How is the score calculated? Some things, such as acidity, you can judge from low to high. You'll get full marks for matching our Sommelier, and half marks for being one either side, i.e. Medium+ instead of Medium. In terms of location, we give you full points for getting the region correct, but also have a list of similar regions stylistically which get you half marks, so you don't score zero for guessing it's from Burgundy, when it's made by a Burgundy producer in Oregon! We'll continue to tweak the algorithm as we learn more about it.

Contents: The packs are randomly put together so, while there may be some duplication if you buy multiple packs, the contents will always be changing regularly. 

Sample Sizes: Because this is a bit of a lucky dip, the amount of wine could vary between 50-125ml, but will typically be 3 x 100ml.

What styles of wines will I likely encounter: It will predominantly be still white / red, but there may be the occasional rosé, amber or fortified wine in there to keep you on your toes!
