This is made from 100% Cercial, an indigenous grape of the region. The harvest is all done by hand and the wine is fermented in French oak barrels with lees stirring (batonnage) to bring added texture and complexity. Made in the vineyards of the Count of Foz de Arouce in the Beira Atlântico region of Portugal.
Lemon yellow colour and limpid. Complex aroma with notes of lime and grapefruit, cut grass and fennel. Good structure with pronounced acidity. Smooth, revealing vanilla and smoky undertones. Long finish.
