Kolonist Haut de Gamme 2020 is a top-tier, barrel-aged dry red from one of Ukraine’s most respected family wineries. It scored 95 points in the 2025 Decanter World Wine Awards Founded in 2005 by Ivan Plachkov, former Minister of Energy and descendant of Bulgarian wine-growing settlers, in the Danube Delta village of Krynychne, Odesa region. The 2020 Haut de Gamme is made using whole berrire and is aged 9 months in new French and Caucasian oak barriques, resulting in a powerful yet polished wine with deep structure. Kolonist is widely regarded for its meticulous vineyard work on pristine Danube terroir and consistent premium quality.
