The wine presents a fuchsia pink tinge to the red with a charming and unusual nose. Red fruits particularly cherry with smoky rooibos tea, cinnamon and dried rose petals. The palate is lean and tart with a forest floor texture to the tannins with follow through from the rooibos tea and rose petals. The tannins are still fresh but well balanced and this a wine that could be drunk now but will age well over the next two years.
