Robola is considered the ‘Dutchess’ of the Ionian Islands (or ‘Contessa’ in the local Italianised dialect). It is a delicate and susceptible variety to oxidation and disease but when cultivated properly it produces very pleasant and balanced wines with character, a unique flavour profile, minerality and acidity.

On the nose this wine gives hints of lemon blossom, citrus fruits and white stone fruits with notes of thyme & white pepper. In the mouth, it shows a great balance between flavour, minerality and acidity.
