There will definitely be plenty to learn as we take a virtual tour across this incredible country which was once the largest producer of wine in the USSR, specialising in Soviet Champagne and Fortified / Dessert wines. 

Today, in the post-Soviet era, garagiste producers have been exploring indigenous grapes of the country and also playing around with new techniques and grapes from all over the world and the quality levels have soared – back to where they should be. 

But then... their neighbours decided to invade. This should be a fascinating tasting.
