The western blocks of the estate vineyard range from 350 - 500 feet in elevation, and are composed of various marine sedimentary soils.  Exposed to the Pacific Ocean's costal breezes, this section of the vineyard produces small clusters of thickly skinned grapes with mega concentration, structure and ageabilty,
