The Peregrine Winery and its vineyards are located in the southernmost grape growing region in the world at latitude 45 South, inland Central Otago, the heart of New Zealand’s South Island. A region of towering mountains, river valleys and alluvial schist soils, offering unique and complex characteristics to our wines.
100% hand harvested from Central Otago – Peregrine Estate Bendigo 52% and Pisa 48%. Mixture of whole bunch pressed and gentle crushing and pressing to obtain texture and flavour from skins. Ferments naturally slowed and stopped using cooling to obtain a medium-dry yet balanced sweetness.
