Each week we sit in the studio and lift the cloche on ingredients, dishes, gadgets and more, with the aim of understanding and appreciating as much as we can about them, so we can share our experiences with you.

Wine Tasting 101

Wine is a subject that we probably all know a little bit about, but can easily get intimidated by… Different grapes, regions, vocab, pairings - there’s a lot!

Whilst the four of us all love a glass of wine, over the last few years Ebbers has really deep dived into the subject and is (obviously) constantly looking to share his knowledge.

So we’ve put together an experience that we think provides the perfect introduction to the world of wine tasting - a box of 6 wines delivered through your letterbox, ready for us to all try together!

LIVE Tasting

On Friday 13th September at 7pm BST we’ll go LIVE on YouTube, tasting the wines and arming us all with the know-how and vocab to understand what you like, what to look out for when buying wine, and what to ask for in a restaurant. And because we’re LIVE, we’ll be answering your questions and sharing your opinions from the comments.

The wine delivery is only available in the UK, but the Livestream is open to everyone - so even if you can’t get your hands on the exact wines we’re drinking, bring along a glass or two of your favourite and join us for the chat!

FAQs

When’s the latest I can order the wines?

You’ll need to order by 18th August to guarantee delivery ahead of the livestream, however you can buy the box at any time.

I can’t make the Livestream, will I be able to watch it afterwards?

Absolutely! The livestream will be uploaded to the channel so you can watch it at any point.

How good are the wines?

Each wine usually retails for £10-20, so a full bottle of each would set you back over £100!

Where should I keep the wines once they arrive?

Keep wines 1-4 in the fridge until the tasting, and put wines 5 & 6 in a cool place. 

Do I need 6 wine glasses?!

Whilst having 6 wine glasses might make the experience smoother, it’s in no way necessary! As long as you have at least 2 wine glasses, you’ll be just fine!

Can I do the tasting with someone else?

Absolutely, the more the merrier! Either share the wine amongst you or order a box of full bottles if there’s a larger group!

Can I buy more bottles of the wines?
